I believe in the principles and ideals of free software. I am saddened that the implementation of those principles and ideals has been almost constantly disrupted and hindered by controversy, drama, and infighting amongst the free software community. I have only been closely following FOSS for a couple years, but I’ve lost track of how many schisms, collapses, and destroyed projects I’ve seen. I had hoped that we were better than that. What will it take for us to unite?

@dallin Here is my unsolicited take on the situation. No one who has read this ever offers a counter argument to my points. Which has me believing that they are just ignored.
